Malbec the world's Day. April 17th.
When someone talks about the Malbec variety immediately comes to mind Argentina. This country cultivates approximately 75000 hectares and second comes France with 13000 hectares, of course, the variety is grown and in other countries such as Italia, Spain, America, and lately in Greece.A good friend of mine George Kitos, an agronomist by profession grows and makes wine from the variety of Malbec in Larissa, a region in the center of Greece with an individual climate, hot days and cool nights, the perfect climate to mature the Malbec. The results are excellent. But here we are to talk about the Argentinian's Malbec variety and its wines. It has a deep red color towards to ink red and crimson, intense nose with sensations of red fruits, such as blackberries, blueberries, cherries and hints of raisins. Full in the mouth with a balanced acidity, well-tasted tannins with an enough good in log aftertaste.
Cheers!!
